The network provides to DAB Bank and its branches all over Afghanistan, the capability of high-speed data transfer, voice over IP (VoIP), internet connection and secure VPN communication among all its locations.

The network for the bank includes a hub station located in Kabul with regional stations located in Gardez, Mazar-e-Sharif, Konduz, Jalalabad, Herat, and Kandahar throughout Afghanistan.

The project includes the implementation, on-site management, integration and Network testing and verification of the Hub Station, and the Regional Stations. This provides the remote branches VOIP voice, swift money transfer and high-speed data connectivity.

Sintelsat has successfully implemented the project including logistic support, on-site program management, customs clearance, warehousing, shipping, and security at different branch locations throughout Afghanistan.
